I have been lucky to travel a lot. Itβs my thing and Iβd much rather spend $ on travel than clothes and fancy restaurants when we are at home. I love restaurants that have character and have great views. The food is important but honestly its more about the atmosphere and the good times had with people I love.
- Slow Grovin BBQ in Marble, Colorado. Seriously amazing atmosphere, amazing cocktails, great food, live music, fantastic patio weather (in summer) and VIEWS. They also have a location in Aspen that I am sure is just as amazing!

2. Oury Brewery in Ouray, Colorado. Great cold draft beer, wings, and waterfall views. I love having a few beers on the third floor rooftop patio but also enjoy the swings around the bar on the street level when the kids are in the RV.

3. In Texas my TOP is ROYERβs at Zapp Hall. Twice a year sharing a BLT at the Champagne Lounge while drinking Veuve (or cooks) with my girlfriends always wins!!!

4. De Adolfo In Italy. Pinch me! You board a small boat in and a captain drops you off on a pier where you walk to this restaurants thatβs tucked in a cliff on the water. After lunch grab a lounge chair and keep the party going!

5. Bar Ucchi in Italy. The bruschetta here was fantastic, the owner even better. This restaurant is in Volpaia, a medieval town that feels like a movie set. Hydrangeas are everywhere and it couldnβt be more dreamy.

6. The Bavarian in Taos Ski Valley. I first went here in high school and now if we are in the area its a must. A German ski in ski out restaurants thatβs super cozy in the winter and a nice sunny hangout in the summer. Fun spot for the 4th of July.

7. Ziggyβs in Tulum. Iβm in love with their tuna nachos. Nice beach pads, beautiful beach and nice service have this one of my first stops in Tulum. Then itβs off to Le Zebra and the Mulberry Project for tequila cocktails and people watching.

8. Meson Pana Verde in Antigua, Guatalmala. I absolutely love Guatemala, itβs beautiful, the people are nice and itβs affordable. I had a great shopping trip where an owner of a boutique suggested the restaurant and Iβm so glad we tried it. Itβs historic, romantic, charming and cozy! We loved it so much we went back for brunch. In the Lake Atitlan area we made reservations at El Artesano, a true hidden gem! They served amazing sangria, wine and cheese. Even fondue! The views and garden here are the cutest.

9. Jose Falconβs Restaurant in Boquilllas, MX. Weve had some great times here. Drinking cold beer in the sun and listening to an old man play the guitar while the kids play soccer with the locals in the dusty streets. YES! Cross the border and visit this Big Bend treasure.

10. Lukes, New Orleans. I love it here! The horseradish is the best Ive ever had. I try to make the happy hour last all day. From 3-6 its half of cocktails (FRENCH 75βS) and $.75 oysters. Yes, please! Iβve even spotted John Besh the owner, I was star struck π
Those are a few! I also LOVE The Nugget in Durango, itβs right by Purgatory Ski Resort. I love La Lomita (black bean soup and chilies rellenos) and Lolo Valentina (cocktails) in Isla Mujeres.
Yum Yum!
