We hit the road yesterday for our 3 week road trip to destinations unkown. Yes! Really. We are heading towards Colorado. Yesterday was a long day. The generator shut off before we hit I-10. 12 hours in the RV with no AC in the back was not fun. We arrived in Carlsbad, NM and got one of the last spots at Brantley Lake State Park. Derek went to work on the generator and is hopeful that he resolved the issue! Sunset was spectacular. We went to bed with lightning in the distance and woke up to 70 mile per hour winds rocking the camper, freaked out and spent around 40 minutes waiting for the storm to pass in the camp bathrooms. WhoooHOO fingers crossed for a better day today.
We are on the way to Sipapu now where we ski in the winter, excited to see it in the summer. ✌️✌️
